Hello and welcome to my site.

Since I started my website my history hasn't changed except to add a few more years on - unfortunately none of us are getting any younger.

My involvement in Carlton Ware goes back almost twenty years. I have my parents to thank for this. They purchased some yellow Buttercup when it was new. A great round trip being exported from England to South America and then back to England, it eventually landed on my dressing table.

Like many I started as a collector. The possibilities opened up once I realised just how many different patterns and shapes of Carlton Ware there was out there. Then I decided a book was needed, this was when I met Harvey Pettit and Peter Cochrane who are writing the definitive book on Carlton Ware so I knew that I had to get on board. I soon learned that the research they had already done was far beyond anyone else's. They had visited the factory as a going concern, met and interviewed more employees than there are in existence now so their book would never be rivalled. All I could do was carry on my research and hope that it would add to theirs. Unfortunately Peter Cochrane has now passed away but rest assured the book is still coming and luckily I am helping.

Back in the 1990's my ex-husband Keith and I became St Clere - Carlton Ware, the specialist dealers. We spent most of our days going around the country attending fairs, promoting Carlton Ware and selling it as well.

We also ran Carlton Ware Collectors International which had been launched in New Zealand in 1993 by Pita and Jules Gregory. Keith and I continued to run it until our split in 2001.

In 2004 avid collectors launched a new club Carlton Ware World Wide (CW3). This year a new website has been launched with a new name to the club, Carlton Ware World.

It is a great club run as a committee with an Annual General Meeting for members to elect who they want to organise the group. Check out www.carltonwareworld.com (button on the left) to get the full details. Yes I help out as a member.

I am still dealing on a part-time basis but only through my website and from home so please do contact me. My website enables you to view the Carlton Ware stock that I have. Although my purchases are few these days I will add them as soon as I get them. Also any sold items will be removed.
